Art, science, and personal experiences all help us better understand who we are and how we can flourish

Art, science, and our own personal experiences provide different perspectives on the world that can help us during dire circumstances. These add to our understanding of who we are and help us to flourish.

Lynn G Underwood’s publications, presentations, and interviews cover:

Compassionate Love  This kind of love is important to us all. The arts (music, poetry, film and visual arts) and information from scientific studies presentations, interviews and publications can give it a boost. How do we define it?

The Self:  Difficult circumstances can remove delusions in our lives, and enable us to grow and know ourselves better. Our relationships to AI-like bots of various kinds clarify what it means to be human.

The Arts Participating in the arts can uplift us, opening us to better appreciate who we are and our relationship to all of life. We can both express ourselves artistically and find inspiration in the art, poetry, film and music of others.

A sense of the ‘more than’ in life: Awe, joy, deep inner peace, gratitude, connection.
